Amir Hussain Khan (Aamir Khan) is regarded as a highly acclaimed film actor who has ruled the hearts of millions of cinema goers across the world. He has also shown his talent as a producer and director. His acting journey was started as a child artist in the movie “Yaadon Ki Baaraat”. However, he made a debut as a leading actor in movie “Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak” that won him the Filmfare Best Male Debutant Award. He tasted further success with blockbuster movie “Dil”. It was followed by “Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander” and ‘Rangeela” which were successful at the box office.
Aamir Khan charted the unique territory of his own in Bollywood and established himself as an independent movie maker and actor to showcase his work in creative manner. His trend of making one movie at a time in a year is still unusual of bollywood. He was known as Mr Perfectionist and like to involve himself completely in the movie making. Apart from superb acting skills in large number of movies, he has also shown his mettle as a successful producer and director. His production house” Aamir Khan Producions” has produced three mega hits movies including “Lagaan”, “Taare Zameen Par”, and recently released “ Peepli Live”.
He has also co-written the screenplay of movie “Hum Hain Rahi Pyaar Ke”, and contributed in story writing of QSQT. Aamir Khan won his first Filmfare Best Actor Award for “Raja Hindustani”. His second film fare award was awarded for “Academy Award Nominated” movie “Lagaan”. Aamir khan is known to give a large number of commercially successful movies and deliver highly acclaimed performances. Apart from acting, he has also won the Filmfare best director award for the movie “Taare Zameen Par”.
