Shah Khan scripted his bollywood journey with immense success and remarkable acting abilities. He stamped his authority as the King of Bollwood. He began his acting career by working in various television serials. His first movie was Deewana (1992) and since then he made numerous commercially successful films and earned critical acclaim for his performances. He has won the filmfare award for record thirteen times including seven in the Best Actor category. He was awarded with Padma Shri in 2005 by the Government of India for his contributions towards Indian Cinema.

Some of the biggest blockbuster movies of SRK include Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998), Chak De India (2007), Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge (1995), Om Shanti Om (2007) and Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (2008). He is also a heart favourites of millions of fans outside India and his movies Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001), Veer-Zaara (2004), Kal Ho Naa Ho (2003), and My Name Is Khan (2010) were top-grossing in the overseas markets.

Apart from acting. SRK has also produced many movies and acted as a television presenter. He is also the founder and owner of two production companies including Dreamz Unlimited and Red Chillies Entertainment. He is regarded as the world’s most successful movie star with a fan following in billions. He has an estimated net worth of over Rs 2500 Crores. His wax statue was installed at Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, London in 2005. He was accorded with the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres award by the French government.
