Napoleon Bonaparte Biography
Napoleon Bonaparte was born on the 15th August 1769 in Ajaccio. He arrived to the world after a year that Corsica was sold by the Genoa Republic to France in which Napoleon Bonaparte was brought up due to the French accent. The family of Napoleon Bonaparte came from Minor Corsican nobility. The name of his father is Carlo Bonaparte. He was an Italian man and an attorney who was a representative of Corsica in the court of Louis XVI in the year 1778. His father was there for so many years napoleon lived most her childhood with his mother. Her name was Laetitia. She used to bath for her children every two days while those that were at the higher class she bath once in a month.
At the age of 6 years, he started a military school which was at Brienne-le-chateau and was closer to Troyes in France. Napoleon Bonaparte was able to learn French at the age of 10 because he had been accused all the while that he does not belong to them been a foreigner. This reflects in his accent whenever he speaks. He mixed both French and Italian together.
When he was 16 years old, he graduated in October 28, 1974 from Ecole Militaire in Paris and was given 2nd lieutenant of artillery in January 1785. He also went to Royal Artillery School at Auxonne which was closer to Dole. In 1789, Napoleon Bonaparte came back to Corsica when the French revolution started. Civil war started due to the nationalist that were fighting for there independent from France. This caused the Napoleon family to run for their life to France. Because Napoleon was a supporter to the Revolution, he was promoted in haste. Napoleon was able to give Toulon freedom from the hand of the royalist in which the British back them up. Another war started between the royalists and the National Convention in Paris in which Napoleon killed all of them in 1795.
In 1796, Napoleon Bonaparte was nicknamed “The Little Corporal”. Napoleon Bonaparte was an intelligent military strategist. He had the ability to work with large number of body of military knowledge during his period and can also apply the knowledge he gain from them to the true world. Napoleon Bonaparte became the France ruler between the year 1799 and 1815.
In the year 1798, Napoleon Bonaparte was bound from the land when his fleet was absolutely damaged through Nelson at the Battle of the Nile.
On the 18 Brumaire 1799, through a coup d’état he became the military dictator and the ruler of France. Ten he was able to established final and long reforms in financial, educational and administrational system. Even till date in France, the effect of civil laws, Napoleonic Code or civil codes are felt.
He conquered Austria and entered a peace treaty with British in 1800. And in 1802, he sold a big portion of Northern America to US at $0.05 per acre. In 1805, Napoleon separated Europe between Poland and Russian. in May 17th 1809, he brought the Papal States annex to the French Empire. In 1814, marshals Napoleon asked to abdicate in which he complied because of his son and was limited to his tiny island. All his attempt to kill himself failed.
Napoleon was conquered at the end by Duke I of Wellington and Gebhard Leberecht von Blucher in Belgium on the 15th June 1815. The British exiled Napoleon to Island of Saint Helena, imprisoned and later died after 6 years in exile. He died on the 15th of May 1821.
